This infill arcade building, situated along the principal promenade through Trent University, houses the Physics Department laboratories and offices. The structure is suspended between two existing buildings with storey-high trusses that express the transfer of forces which stabilize the system, creating a column-free laboratory environment.

Carefully knit into the circulation system of the campus, the design of the facility creates a sky lit arcade, as well as a direct connection to the adjacent science complex.
