Richard Lai is a graduate of the University of Auckland, New Zealand, where he received his Bachelor of Architecture in 1984. In 1988 he became a member of the New Zealand Institute of Architects and in 2006 a member of the Ontario Association of Architects. He has been with Teeple Architects Inc. since 2005. Richard has over 25 years of award-winning architectural experience working in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Canada. Richard’s expertise includes both design and management in a variety of building types and scales including residential, institutional, educational, commercial, healthcare and cultural projects. Richard has a solid understanding of how to deliver projects effectively while maintaining architectural and technical excellence.
